Holiday Dog Safety
Thanksgiving brings family gatherings, food, and time spent together.  Our dogs beiing an integrated part of the family, sometimes find themselves in a compromised sitluation without you realizing it.

Guests, friends or family are well meaning but don't get the dog thing if they aren't a dog person themselves.  Things like open doors, the toddler hugging the dog, and the unscene treats fed to the dog can all end up creating a bad day for the dog and you.

You can include your dog in the things that are best which include getting an appropriate amount of exercise before the food festivities begin.  And there are some cool treats you can give your dog, even though there is a long list of things you shouldn't give your dog as well.

Read these two articles for holiday dog safety when it comes to food and the whole scene... where to hang out, what to do with oneself.  And look for the special Holiday Kong Treat recipe!
